After a prolonged wait, a large family in the Perm region was able to move into a new home. Yana Lantratova, the Russian Federation Commissioner for Human Rights, announced that a new apartment had been allocated to the family.
The family’s old home in the settlement of Polazna had been declared unfit for habitation. The family was subsequently admitted to a program for relocating residents from unfit housing, but had to wait a long time for a new apartment to be provided.

Lantratova and Igor Sapko, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Perm region, submitted an appeal requesting that supervisory authorities examine the family’s situation. Following the appeal, the administration of the Dobryanka district allocated an apartment to the family.
The family is expected to move into its new home soon.
