The Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Krai approved the regional state program “Youth of Krasnodar Krai,” which is aimed at young people. Total funding for the program for 2027–2030 is planned at approximately 3.5 billion rubles.
The decision was made at the 87th session, the first session of the current legislative year. During the meeting, lawmakers discussed around 40 agenda items regulating legal relations in the economy and various areas of life in the region.
Goals for youth development
The program aims to bring together mechanisms for identifying, supporting and developing young people’s talents within a more effective system. The measures are intended to help young people define themselves in life and develop their professional orientation.

The program is also expected to contribute to raising young people as responsible and patriotic citizens. It is further expected to create conditions for young women and men to realize their potential in various fields and shape decisions about their lives.

Burlachko warns of harmful influences in the information sphere
Yuri Burlachko, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Krai, said that more than 1.5 million young people live in the region. He argued that students, university graduates and young specialists are particularly vulnerable to harmful influences in the information sphere.
Burlachko said that if young people’s energy and talents are not directed properly, actors seeking to weaken the country could exploit them. He said the program would bring together regional resources and increase the effectiveness of existing youth support mechanisms.
