Eight Russian skaters head to Beijing for Magic On Ice show
Eight Russian figure skaters, including 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics silver medalist Alexandra Trusova, will perform at the Magic On Ice show in the Chinese capital in August.
Eight figure skaters from Russia are set to perform at an international ice show in Beijing, the Chinese capital. The show, called Magic On Ice, will take place from August 7 to 9.
According to the event poster shared on the fkdacha Telegram channel, Alexandra Ignatova (Trusova), who won silver at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, is among the star attractions. She will be joined by Makar Ignatov, Mark Kondratyuk, and Maria Zakharova. In the pairs category, Vasilisa Kaganovskaya/Maxim Nekrasov and Ekaterina Chikmareva/Matvey Yanchenkov will take the ice.
Trusova had previously announced that she returned to full training after giving birth and would continue her career. The 22-year-old athlete was also included in the Moscow national team's main squad for the 2026/27 season.
