Russian businessman Aleksandr Galitskiy is known as the founder of Almaz Capital Partners. Following the Moscow City Court's decision to transfer Galitskiy's assets valued at approximately 8 billion rubles to the state, the businessman left Russia. The court also banned Almaz Capital Partners' operations in Russia. It was reported that Galitskiy left the country with a Dutch passport via Belarus. In March, the Tver Regional Court defined Almaz Capital Partners and its affiliated companies as extremist for allegedly providing material support to Ukraine and banned their activities. Galitskiy's lawyer appealed to the higher court, but the application was rejected. The businessman did not attend the court session and submitted his complaint by mail.
