One of Russia's leading financial institutions, Sber, aims to launch its own communication platform in 2027. According to Kirill Menshov, one of the company's top executives, the new platform will include chats, voice calls, video conferences, email, meeting calendars, task management, and an AI-powered assistant. The testing phase is planned to be completed by the end of this year, with a full launch in 2027. With this platform, Sber targets 20-25% of the approximately 190 billion ruble business communication market in Russia. Experts note that the slowdown of Telegram in Russia may influence this initiative, while also pointing out that the market is already shaped by mature players. Sber's strong brand image and extensive infrastructure could provide a competitive advantage in the market. However, challenges exist in gaining market share due to existing companies already using integrated systems and information security policies.
