Chukotka and Magadan recorded Russia’s highest average salaries in July. Average employee earnings exceeded 200,000 rubles in both regions.
Average salaries reached 243,700 rubles in Chukotka and 210,400 rubles in Magadan.
National average rose to 109,500 rubles
Russia’s monthly average salary rose 9.5 percent year on year to 109,500 rubles.
The calculation included salaries before tax deductions as well as bonuses. The average income calculation covered the earnings of all employees at organizations, including those receiving very high salaries.
