Arrest sought in US for Israeli commander Sean Glass over Hind Rajab case
The rights group Hind Rajab Foundation has petitioned the US Justice Department to arrest and try Israeli commander Sean Glass.
The Hind Rajab Foundation petitioned the US Justice Department on Oct. 19 to investigate Israeli commander Sean Glass, detain him and bring him to trial. The foundation claims Glass is in the United States.
The organization believes Glass led the unit that, by its account, opened fire in January 2024 on a car in Gaza carrying Palestinian girl Hind Rajab and her relatives, and that he most likely gave the order to fire. It wants US laws on war crimes and genocide applied.
US Rep. Rashida Tlaib made a similar call. The Justice Department did not respond to the petition.
