Ukraine rejects ceasefire proposal for fallen soldiers' bodies in Konstantinovka
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Ukrainian side did not accept the humanitarian ceasefire proposed for the retrieval of the bodies of soldiers killed in the Konstantinovka area. Ukrainian authorities have not yet made a statement on the matter.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukraine rejected the ceasefire proposal for the handover of the bodies of soldiers killed in Konstantinovka.
In a statement from the ministry, it was said, "During the handling of this issue through intelligence services, the Ukrainian side rejected this proposal." The statement did not specify the source of this information.
The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously proposed a halt to the bombardment in Konstantinovka between 12:00 and 18:00 on July 6 and the conduct of a humanitarian operation, and had stated that Ukraine needed to respond to this proposal by noon on July 5.
Ukrainian authorities have not yet made a statement regarding these claims by Russia.
