U.S. President Donald Trump said Russia and Ukraine had agreed to stop attacks on each other’s energy facilities in connection with the energy front of the Russia-Ukraine war.
In a post on his Truth Social account on Monday, Trump said Ukraine had agreed not to strike Russia’s energy targets. The U.S. president said Russia would act in the same way.
Trump also argued that the Russia-Ukraine war was chiefly responsible for the rise in global diesel prices. He said the increase was not connected to the war with Iran.
