Three defendants in the arson case involving relay cabins near railway lines in Kaluga were sentenced by the Second Western District Military Court to between 14 and 21 years in prison.
According to the court’s findings, Artem Krysko agreed to burn relay cabins beside the railway in exchange for money, acting on the instructions of an unidentified person. Krysko also agreed to record the arson attacks on video.

Krysko involved Ivan Kuzmenko and Kristina Valuyeva, who lived in Kaluga, in the attacks. The court noted that the three defendants had torched the relay cabins multiple times.
The defendants were accused of carrying out a terrorist act as a group by prior agreement. Artem Krysko and Kristina Valuyeva had previously been convicted, it was stated.
