Three homes destroyed in reported drone attack in Horlivka
Horlivka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said three homes were destroyed in an alleged drone attack carried out on Oct. 15 in the city’s Nikitovsky district. Five civilian vehicles were also damaged in the incident.
Horlivka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko announced that an alleged drone attack carried out on Oct. 15 in the city’s Nikitovsky district resulted in the complete destruction of three homes.
Prikhodko said five civilian vehicles were also damaged during the attack.
Horlivka’s location and economy
Located about 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, Horlivka is home to the Stirol chemical company and coal mining operations.
More than 250,000 people lived in Horlivka before fighting began in Donbas, and the city is described as one of the region’s largest settlements.
