Sobyanin says 417 UAVs headed toward Moscow region
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that 417 UAVs headed toward the Moscow region between 8:30 p.m. local time on October 12 and 7 a.m. on October 13. He said 65 UAVs approaching Moscow were destroyed, while a total of 604 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down in different regions of Russia.
Speaking about UAV activity targeting the Moscow region, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that 417 UAVs headed toward the region between 8:30 p.m. local time on October 12 and 7 a.m. on October 13.
Sobyanin said most of the UAVs were destroyed by Russian air defense systems at considerable distances from the capital. He added that 65 UAVs approaching Moscow were also destroyed by air defense systems.
Russia's Defense Ministry also announced that air defense systems destroyed a total of 604 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs in different regions of the country between 8 p.m. local time on October 12 and 8 a.m. on October 13.
