Russia’s deputy emergencies minister in Ankara: Russia-Türkiye emergency cooperation to grow
Deputy Emergencies Minister Anatoly Suprunovsky led a Russian delegation to the 4th International CBRN Congress in Ankara and shared emergency response experience with Türkiye’s AFAD.
Anatoly Suprunovsky, Russia’s deputy emergencies minister and chief state fire inspector, led the Russian delegation at the 4th International CBRN Congress held in Ankara on Oct. 6-9. Organized by AFAD, the congress focused on CBRN threats in the age of artificial intelligence.
Suprunovsky told the plenary he was confident bilateral cooperation would strengthen for the safety of both countries’ citizens and the global community.
On the sidelines, he met AFAD President Ali Pehlivan to discuss practical experience in emergency response and civil defense.
