A soldier serving in Russia's 61st Guards Naval Infantry Brigade reported that drones deliver not only essential supplies but also morale-boosting treats to troops on the front line. The mechanical driver with the call sign 'Jaguar' highlighted that this practice becomes especially important on holidays.
Special treats for the front
Jaguar said, "We can easily deliver 'Mimosa' salad or other products to forward positions. For us, this is a normal practice. Such small details lift the soldiers' spirits and remind them of home even in the most difficult conditions."
According to the marine, drones regularly deliver water, food, cigarettes, and other necessary items to the front. However, the cargo list expands on holidays.
Soldiers' requests are taken into account
"When soldiers are in the most forward positions, we try to support them and send not only water, food, and cigarettes but also little pleasant surprises - sweets, salads. After all, a holiday is a holiday," he stated.
Jaguar added that the units try to anticipate the wishes of the soldiers on the front line in advance. The soldier said, "Sometimes we ask them to bring something special. The units stop by stores and buy products not included in the standard rations. We try to please the guys with something homemade and familiar."
The marine underlined that these small gestures of attention play an important role for those who spend a long time on the front.
