Russian Defense Ministry says drone strike cut power to military facilities in Ukraine's Sumy
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it carried out a drone strike on an energy facility in Ukraine's Sumy region using a 'Geran-4 Seeker' drone. After the strike, some military facilities in the region lost power, the ministry stated.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it carried out a drone operation targeting energy infrastructure in Ukraine's Sumy region. The statement said that a 110 kV transformer substation in the Dyakovka settlement was struck by a 'Geran-4 Seeker' type drone.
The ministry stated that as a result of this strike, some facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces were left without power. A video of the region was also released after the operation, showing the consequences of the attack on the energy infrastructure.
