Russian Defense Ministry: Northern Group inflicts over 230 casualties on Ukraine in Sumy and Kharkiv
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Northern Group forces destroyed a significant number of Ukrainian troops and equipment in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions and improved their tactical positions.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday, July 2, that troops of the "North" military group improved their tactical positions and inflicted damage on personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
According to ministry data, in the last 24 hours the AFU lost over 230 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, 16 automobiles, three field guns, and one electronic warfare station.
In the Sumy region, attacks were carried out on units of mechanized, airborne, and territorial defense brigades in the settlements of Lujki, Khoten, and Novaya Sech. In the Kharkiv region, units of mechanized, motorized infantry, and two territorial defense brigades of the AFU were targeted in the areas of Lyutovka, Zrubanka, Bely Kolodez, and Kazachya Lopan.
