Russian citizen Alexey dies in coma after traffic accident in Vietnam
Russian citizen Alexey, who underwent brain surgery and fell into a coma after a severe traffic accident in Vietnam on July 2, died in hospital. His relatives had launched a fundraising campaign for his medical expenses.
Russian citizen Alexey, who lived in Vietnam, died after a severe traffic accident on July 2. After the accident, Alexey underwent brain surgery, fell into a coma, and died while in intensive care.
Olga, an acquaintance of Alexey who spoke to RIA Novosti, said: "Today I learned that Lesha died." Alexey had suffered a brain hemorrhage, and his relatives had been raising money for his medical expenses.
A friend of Alexey had previously told the agency that the accident occurred on July 2 and that Alexey was in a coma in intensive care. Alexey, who underwent surgery to remove hematomas in his brain, showed no significant improvement in his health.
Relatives of Alexey, who lived in Vietnam and had no family in the country, had launched a fundraising campaign for his medical expenses.
