Russia says Izmail port and two vessels were targeted in drone strikes
Russia’s Defense Ministry said Ukraine’s Izmail port in the Odesa region and two dry cargo vessels were targeted by drones overnight. The ministry alleged that the port infrastructure was linked to military and dual-use cargoes intended for delivery to the Ukrainian army.
Ukraine’s Izmail port in the Odesa region and two dry cargo vessels were targeted in overnight drone strikes, according to a statement from Russia’s Defense Ministry.
The ministry said Russian forces continued drone strikes overnight against port facilities and vessels in Ukraine. It added that two dry cargo vessels allegedly carrying military equipment were also targeted.
The statement alleged that the port infrastructure in Izmail was used to unload and store military and dual-use cargoes intended for delivery to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
