Russia issued a stern warning, accusing the Baltic countries of using their territory as a base for Ukraine's attacks on Russia. Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin described the situation as 'playing with fire.'
Galuzin warned that Latvia's involvement in attacks on Russian territory would not go unanswered. He stated that Moscow is meticulously recording provocations against civilians, the launch of drones at Russian facilities, and the decision-making points related to their production and assembly sites.
According to an earlier statement by Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing a new series of attacks from the Baltic countries to shorten flight times. Enemy drones have begun regularly entering the airspace of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
The Baltic countries claim they do not allow Ukraine to use their airspace for attacks on Russia. However, Moscow responded to these claims with a specific warning.
The Russian Foreign Ministry had previously reacted harshly to Riga's plans to build a drone factory for Kyiv near the Russian border.
