Republican House member Massie announced that he had launched a petition drive to collect the 218 signatures needed to force a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act 2 in the U.S. Congress.
Massie said the U.S. government had not released more than 3 million files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. In a video posted on his X account, Massie reiterated his call for the files to be made public.
Call for investigations into 14 people
Speaking on the House floor, Massie accused 14 people, including former British Prince Andrew and billionaire Les Wexner, of being Epstein’s accomplices. Massie called for investigations into these individuals and for legal proceedings to be initiated.

Names in the Epstein case
Jeffrey Epstein was facing trial on charges of sexually abusing dozens of girls under the age of 18, the youngest of whom was 14, and creating a prostitution network. Epstein was found dead on August 10, 2019, in his cell at the Manhattan Metropolitan Detention Center in New York, where he was being held.
The released case files included the names of former Prince Andrew, U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, attorney Alan Dershowitz and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
FBI assessment of Epstein
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that, following its review with the U.S. Department of Justice, it had found no evidence that a “client list” consisting of prominent figures had been maintained.
Despite claims that Epstein was killed because he was complicit in crimes involving government officials, celebrities and businesspeople, the bureau said it had concluded that his death was a suicide.
