Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the response given by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Omsk. Peskov stated that Putin responded in detail to Tokayev's proposal to freeze the conflict in Ukraine and return to the Istanbul formula.
"Of course (he responded). He explained everything about the special military operation to him in detail," Peskov said, adding that the Russian leader responded to Tokayev's peace proposal with these explanations.
Kazakh President Tokayev had proposed freezing the Ukraine conflict and returning to the Istanbul agreement formula during the meeting in Omsk. Putin, on the other hand, responded to this proposal by explaining the details of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
