Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak warned oil sector companies by reminding them of their legal obligations under the northern supply framework. He stated that the government's priority is to ensure stable and timely fuel supply to the regions.
Novak's warning was issued at a meeting attended by the Energy Ministry, the Ministry for the Development of the Far East, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), and industry representatives. The meeting particularly focused on fuel delivery to hard-to-reach settlements.
A statement from the Russian Government said that Novak advised companies to comply with the responsibilities set by law for the supply of petroleum products for the northern supply, and noted that this issue is also a priority for regional authorities.
