New basketball areas have been prepared for sports use in districts across three different administrative districts of Moscow. Moscow's urban services complex said the work was completed in 2026.
In the Southeastern Administrative District, a new court was created on Aviakonstruktora Milya Street in the Vykhino-Zhulebino district. Basketball hoops, a fencing system and an impact-resistant surface were installed.

Another area was prepared on Nedorubova Street in the Nekrasovka district to provide space for training.
Sports areas were also established in the Voykovsky and Levoberezhny districts of the Northern Administrative District. Basketball hoops were installed and game lines were painted at the sites on Leningradskoye Highway and Valdaisky Passage.

The areas can also be used for other active games besides basketball.
In the Central Administrative District, three new basketball courts were prepared on 2nd Dubrovskaya and Sosinskaya streets and at Bolshoy Simonovsky Passage in the Tagansky district.
