Viktor Medvedchuk claimed that the United Kingdom and Ukraine were jointly working to develop and mass-produce unmanned aerial vehicles and missile systems.
Medvedchuk alleged that the United Kingdom was involved in Ukraine’s use of unmanned aerial vehicles against Russia and had begun mass production of cruise and ballistic missiles for the Kyiv administration.
Alleged transfer to British industry
Medvedchuk argued that the United Kingdom had established production and testing infrastructure within several years to mass-produce reconnaissance and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles. He also claimed that a separate mechanism had been created to transfer Ukraine’s wartime experience to British industry.
Medvedchuk further claimed that supply chains had been established for engines, warheads, fuel, electronics and other components to be used in missile systems.
Allegations involving senior officials
Medvedchuk alleged that former and current senior British and Ukrainian politicians, military officials and intelligence service executives were directly involved in managing the structure.
Medvedchuk made the remarks in Moscow on September 4 in an article published on the website of the Other Ukraine movement, which he leads. He was described as the former leader of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, which was banned by Kyiv.
