International East-West Russian Language Week opens in Istanbul
Istanbul is hosting the International East-West Russian Language Week on Oct. 20-23, a scientific and educational forum for specialists in Russian language and literature from Europe and the Middle East.
The International East-West Russian Language Week opened in Istanbul on Oct. 20 and runs until Oct. 23. The large-scale scientific and educational forum is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo together with the V.N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University, the Russian Embassy in Türkiye said.
The project is regarded as one of the key discussion and training platforms for specialists in Russian language and literature from Europe and the Middle East.
Sharing experience, building university ties
The event aims to bring together academics and teachers of Russian as a foreign language, promote advanced educational technologies, share experience while taking the specific features of national education systems into account, and develop partnerships between universities.
