Five Russian airports seek to introduce biometric boarding
Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Poteshkin announced in Moscow on October 8 that five airports want to join the biometric system. The biometric boarding service is planned to expand to more airports.
Five airports in Russia want to join the biometric system to launch biometric boarding for flights. Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Poteshkin announced the request in Moscow on October 8.
Speaking at a session of the Digital Solutions Forum, Poteshkin said they plan to increase the number of airports using biometric boarding.
Poteshkin said five airports had expressed their desire to join the system and begin offering the service, adding that the application would be expanded to more airports.
