The history of Türkiye-Poland relations
Türkiye's support for Poland's accession to NATO in 1999, along with Poland's support for Türkiye's European Union accession process, contributed to strengthening bilateral relations.
Relations between the two countries were elevated to the level of strategic partnership following the signing of the Türkiye-Poland Strategic Partnership Declaration in 2009.
