Beeline has completed a modernization phase that strengthens network infrastructure on the Moscow Ring Road (TsKAD), one of Moscow's main transport arteries. According to the operator, base stations in the busiest sections of the road were upgraded and network parameters optimized.
This work aims to improve the quality and stability of mobile connectivity on this route, which is vital for both Moscow region residents and transit transport. Today, the uninterrupted operation of digital services such as navigation, banking, messaging, and video services necessitates a robust communication infrastructure on transport routes.
By updating equipment, Beeline specialists added extra capacity to the network and began managing high traffic more efficiently. In drive tests conducted by the company, the maximum download speed was recorded at 281.5 Mbps, with an average download speed of 62.9 Mbps. The maximum upload speed was measured at 80.5 Mbps, and the average upload speed at 28 Mbps.
PJSC VimpelCom Moscow Region Director Oleg Biryukov noted that traffic on transport routes is growing faster than the number of base stations, saying, "Today, communication quality depends more on how efficiently the network operates than on coverage area. We are constantly increasing capacity, optimizing architecture, and upgrading equipment so that our customers can use digital services without restrictions even on the busiest roads."
Network development along key transport routes remains one of Beeline's priority activities in the Moscow region. Previously, an independent study by research firm Telecom Daily awarded Beeline the highest mobile communication quality rating on the main highways around Moscow.
This modernization on the TsKAD is part of efforts to systematically strengthen communication infrastructure at strategically important points.
