The Russian Society of Antalya gave a concert at the Mimar Sinan Congress Center on October 4 as part of the 2nd International Health and Well-being in Old Age Festival, organized by the municipality of Kepez, a district of Antalya.
The Russian Choir of Antalya, the Freedom and Parlak Yıldız dance groups, young soloist Liya Kaya and the Friendship Choir took the stage, with Georgy Shurinov hosting the evening. Audiences of all ages cheered the performers.
"It is especially important that projects like this bring together people of different generations, nationalities and cultures," the society said, thanking the festival organizers for the invitation.
Held on October 2–4 under the motto "Happy Seniors, Happy Kepez," the festival featured panels on age-friendly cities, theater performances, Turkish folk music choirs, Ukrainian and Russian dance groups and a recycled-fashion show.
