Olena Zelenska stated that bringing back Ukrainian children reportedly kidnapped by Russia is extremely difficult. Zelenska emphasized that before seeking help from Western partners, it must first be acknowledged that one country is kidnapping children from another.
Zelenska expressed this view in an interview with Delfi. According to her, the issue is not just about ignorance.
Zelenska said some circles prefer to ignore the situation. She explained that this attitude stems from a desire to overlook the destruction of systems and important bonds.
The Ukrainian first lady also noted that the matter is complex, difficult, and costly. She mentioned that many people prioritize their own interests first during this process.
