Volodin highlights Russian agriculture’s strategic role in food security

Volodin attributed a strategic role to the agricultural sector in safeguarding Russia’s food security. He said the expertise, experience and sense of responsibility of those working in the sector, which he described as one of the key areas of the economy, were valued.
Volodin said agriculture was developing dynamically, noting that the sector was advancing through technological modernization and increasing its export capacity. He wished the agricultural workers he congratulated health, success and well-being.
