Ukrainian drones strike Russia’s Belgorod, fires reported in city

Ukrainian forces attacked the Russian city of Belgorod with drones on Saturday evening, causing fires within the city, military correspondent Yuri Kotenok said, according to Lenta.ru. There was no immediate information on casualties or damage. Regional authorities earlier reported 135 Ukrainian attacks on the Belgorod region over the past day, with one civilian killed.
Belgorod lies about 40 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and is regarded as one of the key logistics and supply hubs for the Russian military.
