Ukrainian drone attacks kill a woman in Belgorod
A woman was killed and two people were injured in a series of Ukrainian drone attacks in the Belgorod region on Wednesday afternoon. In the attack in a district bordering the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, a drone struck a moving vehicle carrying passengers.

Drone struck a vehicle carrying passengers
In the district bordering Ukraine’s Sumy and Kharkiv regions, a drone struck a moving vehicle. The woman in the vehicle was killed, while the male passenger was injured and taken to hospital.
Another woman injured in a second attack
Another woman was injured in a separate attack in a different part of the Belgorod region. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
Attacks along Belgorod’s border
The Belgorod region, located on Russia’s border with northeastern Ukraine, has been targeted by drone and artillery attacks almost daily since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022.
