Ukraine's General Staff says 16 targets were hit in Russia
Ukraine's General Staff announced that 16 targets were attacked on Russian territory over the past 24 hours. The statement said a fire broke out at the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the attacks in the Russian Federation targeted oil sector facilities, airports, a missile unit, a military enterprise and logistics centers.
The Ukrainian president made the assessment in a social media post. Ukraine's General Staff also announced that 16 targets on Russian territory had been attacked over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff said the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, was hit and that a fire broke out at the facility.
