Ukraine’s talks with its partners will continue in different formats despite Defense Minister Yevgeniy Hmara’s decision to postpone his visits to Germany and Norway.

Sources at Ukraine’s Defense Ministry linked the decision to postpone the visits to the increase in attacks by Russian forces against the country. The current conditions require the ministry’s leadership to focus its operational attention on Ukraine and accelerate efforts to counter the attacks.

Against this backdrop, Hmara’s planned visits to Germany and Norway have been postponed to a later date. However, Ukraine’s negotiations with its partners have not ended.

Communication with representatives of partner countries will continue through different channels. The parties are also working on new aid packages and the decisions needed for Ukraine.
