The Vyazma Bread Factory, operating in the Smolensk region, received the ‘Made in Russia’ certificate from the Russian Export Center in the ‘Reliability’ category. The certificate officially confirmed the enterprise’s product quality and reliability.
Regional Governor Vasiliy Anohin said in a statement, “This certificate is a symbol of the revival and recognition of our region’s centuries-old history.” Anohin added, “Vyazma gingerbread is much more than just a confection. It is a part of our cultural identity, a reminder of our ancestors’ craftsmanship and, of course, an indicator of the high-quality products we produce today.”
The factory, which has been producing since 1947, offers more than 100 different product varieties. Among its most famous products are three types of ‘Vyazma’ gingerbread: almond, fruit candy-filled and pistachio.
The press service of the Smolensk region government stated that the certificate is not only a quality confirmation but also a powerful impetus for the enterprise’s further development.
