Saida Mirziyoyeva meets Donald Trump during US visit
Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration, met US President Donald Trump during a working visit to the United States and conveyed greetings from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Mirziyoyeva announced the meeting on Oct. 2 on her Telegram channel alongside a joint photo, calling it “a great honor” to convey the Uzbek president’s best wishes to Trump.
Neither the White House nor Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration disclosed what was discussed.
During the trip, Mirziyoyeva attended UN General Assembly events and held talks with the World Trade Organization on Uzbekistan’s accession, with Google on YouTube monetization in Uzbekistan, and with BlackRock executives on the planned Tashkent International Financial Centre.
