Following the cancellation of the registration of Yabloko’s candidate list for the State Duma election, the party’s details will be removed from the ballot. Russian Central Election Commission Deputy Chairman Nikolay Bulaev said the commission would address the matter after receiving the court’s decision.
The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that canceling the registration of Yabloko’s list of parliamentary candidates was lawful. The court also rejected the parties’ appeals against the decision.
Yabloko’s list had been placed second on the ballot following a drawing. Bulaev said the party’s details in the second position would be removed, but the party numbers on the ballot would remain unchanged.
