Russian athletes snatch gold medals at Kremlin Cup in Moscow
On the first day of the Kremlin Cup diving competition in Moscow, Nikita Kudryavtsev won gold in the men’s 10-meter platform, and Vasilisa Shurenkova claimed gold in the women’s 3-meter springboard.
The first medals of the international diving competition held under the name Kremlin Cup in Moscow went to Russian athletes. In the men's 10-meter platform category, Nikita Kudryavtsev won the gold medal with a score of 96.20 points.
Egor Sobolev followed Kudryavtsev with 56.10 points, while Artem Levin took third place with 51.80 points.
The Russian flag also flew in the women's 3-meter springboard event. Vasilisa Shurenkova won the gold medal with 58.80 points. Evgeniya Selezneva took silver on 51.00 points, and Veronika Kurysheva claimed bronze with 45.60 points.
The Kremlin Cup diving competition will conclude on Sunday.
