Russian air defense systems destroyed a drone approaching Cherepovets
Governor of Vologda Region Georgi Filimonov announced that a drone was shot down by Russian Defense Ministry forces near the city of Cherepovets. Operational teams are continuing their work in the area.
In Russia's Vologda Region, air defense systems neutralized a drone. Governor Georgi Filimonov announced that the drone approaching the city of Cherepovets on July 9 was shot down by Russian Defense Ministry forces.
In a statement via his Telegram channel, Filimonov said, "A drone was shot down by Defense Ministry forces while approaching Cherepovets. Operational units are working. I ask you to remain calm and take precautions."
Following the incident, emergency teams began working in the area. Officials asked the public to remain calm and take necessary precautions.
