Russia has set the customs duty on biologically active food supplements imported from “unfriendly” countries at 35%.
The decision changes the tariff rates applied to imports of certain products from countries and regions that have taken measures violating Russia’s economic interests.
Hungary and Slovakia exempted
Government Decree No. 1203, dated September 21, 2026, covers biologically active food supplements marked with identification tools under Russia’s mandatory labeling rules.
The 35% duty will apply to imports from countries on Russia’s list of “unfriendly” countries. Hungary and Slovakia were excluded from the regulation.
Duty valid until the end of 2027
The increased customs duty will remain in effect until December 31, 2027. The decree will take effect seven days after its official publication.
