Russia claims Donetsk's Shevchenko village captured; Ukraine reports widespread attacks
The Russian Defense Ministry announced it had gained control of the Shevchenko settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic. Meanwhile, Ukraine reported ongoing attacks targeting civilian infrastructure across 10 regions, resulting in casualties.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Shevchenko village in the Donetsk region had been completely brought under control. In a statement on Sunday, it said that the 'Center' group of forces had seized the settlement with the support of operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile and artillery units.
Meanwhile, Ukraine reported that Russia was continuing its attacks in 10 regions of the country. Ukrainian officials stated that civilian infrastructure was being targeted, resulting in casualties. The fighting on the Donetsk front continues.
