Mongolian Defense Minister Damba Batlut visits Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center

Mongolian Defense Minister Damba Batlut and his delegation visited the Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center, Baykar's R&D and production base. The delegation was hosted at the center considered the heart of Turkiye's unmanned aerial vehicle ecosystem.

Mongolian Defense Minister Damba Batlut visits Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center

The visit took place as part of the Mongolian minister's official program in Turkiye. Damba, who was in Ankara as the official guest of National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, was welcomed at the ministry with a military ceremony. After the national anthems of the two countries were played, the ministers held one-on-one and inter-delegation talks. Following the talks, the two ministers signed the 'Military Training Cooperation Agreement.' As part of the program, the Mongolian minister also met with Chief of General Staff General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu at the General Staff Headquarters.

The Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center stands out as the facility where Turkiye's flagship unmanned aerial vehicles such as the Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar AKINCI, and Bayraktar KIZILELMA are designed, developed, and produced. In recent years, the center has become a priority stop for foreign defense delegations visiting Turkiye.

Baykar expressed its pleasure in hosting the visiting delegation in its statement regarding the visit. The visit is seen as an indication that cooperation between Turkiye and Mongolia in the field of defense and defense industry is deepening.
