Rodion Miroshnik, Special Envoy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in an interview with TASS that 25 Russian civilians, including a child, lost their lives in attacks carried out by Ukraine in the past week. Miroshnik noted that a total of 234 civilians were affected by the attacks, 209 of whom were injured, including 14 children among the wounded.
The attacks were especially concentrated in the regions of Belgorod, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Bryansk, Chuvashia, and the Donetsk People's Republic. Miroshnik expressed that most of the injured were due to drone attacks, and such attacks accounted for approximately 87% of the total injuries.
It was reported that Ukrainian forces continue to remotely plant mines in Russian regions, causing injuries and disabilities among civilians. For example, in Donetsk, a 14-year-old child was injured due to cluster munition explosion, while another civilian lost a leg due to a mine explosion.
Miroshnik also stated that Ukrainian forces violated international humanitarian law by targeting medical vehicles, and three members of an ambulance team were injured in a drone attack in the Belgorod region.
Information was given that approximately 3,600 rockets were fired into Russian territory in the last seven days. New statements are expected in the coming days for official announcements and detailed information.
