A food warehouse used by McDonald’s logistics partner in the Brovary district of Kyiv region was struck twice on September 25, Ukrainian officials said. The first strike came at around 3 a.m. and the second during the day.
After the second strike a fire broke out, and the building where food was stored burned down completely. No casualties were reported.
Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said there were no military facilities on the premises. “Everything looks like a deliberate strike against a facility associated with an American company,” he said. Ukraine’s foreign minister said attacks on international businesses threaten jobs and investment.
Russia’s Defense Ministry, in its summary of strikes on September 25-26, listed among its targets a logistics center of HAVI Logistics Ukraine in the village of Trebukhiv in Brovary district.
