Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said the existing employment system in the construction sector needs to be made more orderly. Khusnullin called for an additional 200,000-300,000 workers in the sector to be brought into the official system.

Khusnullin said Russia does not need foreign labor on a very large scale, but that action must be taken against informal employment. The deputy prime minister called for greater investment in technology and training to increase labor productivity and shorten construction times.
