The foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan issued a joint statement following their meeting in Istanbul, chaired by Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The ministers said in the statement that the Israeli occupation is the main source of instability in the region and beyond, while Israel's policies are deepening the sense of injustice in the world.
The ministers called for the two-state solution to be implemented as soon as possible in line with UN resolutions and for the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. They condemned settlement construction in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as well as settler violence, and called for uninterrupted humanitarian aid to Gaza and its reconstruction.

The Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea
The statement also focused on the safety of navigation. The ministers rejected any measures that hinder lawful navigation and called for the swift and full restoration of safe and unhindered passage through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that disruptions to sea routes threaten supplies of energy resources, fertilizers and food.
The ministers said the conflict between the United States and Israel, on one side, and Iran, on the other, must be resolved solely through dialogue and diplomacy. They also condemned attacks by the Yemeni Houthis on Saudi Arabia and attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, calling on the Houthis to end military operations and return to the political process.
The parties agreed to continue close consultations and coordination on these issues.
