Sergey Kubanov, Deputy Dean of the Medical-Biological Faculty at North Caucasus Federal University and Candidate of Medical Sciences, stated that although mineral water and narzan are not medicines, they are used on a doctor's recommendation.
Kubanov pointed out that long-term and uncontrolled consumption of therapeutic-table waters carries a risk of complications.
"The norm for mineral water consumption should be customized for each case, depending on the type of water and the person's health condition," the expert said, sharing general recommendations.
According to Kubanov's statement, the daily recommended amount for therapeutic-table mineral water, with a doctor's advice, is between 0.5 and 1.5 liters.
For therapeutic mineral water, daily consumption should be limited to only 0.5 to 1 liter, strictly with a doctor's prescription.
