President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted an official dinner at the Beştepe Complex in Ankara on October 29 to mark Republic Day and the 13th summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
“I sincerely believe that we, the Turkic world, will move toward the future together in full solidarity, mutual respect and brotherhood and, God willing, strive to make the coming period a Turkic century,” Erdoğan said.

The dinner was attended by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Tufan Erhürman, president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Azerbaijan, whose President Ilham Aliyev did not attend the summit, was represented by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Erdoğan called the OTS a “family council” and noted that Türkiye is marking the 103rd anniversary of the Republic this year together with brotherly countries. He said that the Turkic republics celebrating the 35th anniversary of their independence had achieved major successes despite difficulties.
Before the dinner, the leaders opened the Park of Civilizations of the Turkic States at Beştepe. They arrived there in TOGG T10X limousines, planted saplings, posed for photographs beside replicas of the Orkhon inscriptions and watched a performance by the Turkish Stars aerobatic team. The park features pavilions of the Turkic states with yurts and national exhibits.

The heads of state then visited the Malazgirt Center, where they watched the equestrian show “Dance of the Horses: Fire of Rebirth,” about the Turkic journey from Central Asia to Anatolia. The meeting of the OTS heads of state is taking place in Ankara on October 30.
