Emil Graesholm, head of Denmark’s Police Intelligence Service (PET), said concrete preparations were under way to sabotage some companies in Denmark linked to aid activities for Ukraine, arguing that Russia was targeting them.
Graesholm said the situation should not be viewed as an uncertain threat that might emerge in the future, adding that sabotage planning was continuing in concrete terms.
Russian intelligence recruitment efforts
PET said it had found evidence that Russian intelligence was trying to recruit Danes through social media and various platforms.
PET said deceived individuals were sharing information without knowing whom they were working for. The service said these people were being used in sabotage activities.
Close cooperation with Danish agencies
PET said it was working in very close cooperation with the Danish Defence Intelligence Service and the Danish Agency for Civil Protection.
